‘Naming my puppy Lynn’
'Name a Puppy and change a life'
A name is the first gift that a guide dog puppy receives. The guide dogs for the Blind Association service transforms the lives of 4,500 blind and partially sighted people every year, but we need your help. The guide dog service receives no government funding.
It costs over £5000 to breed and puppy walk each guide dog puppy and the lifetime cost of a guide dog is almost £50,000.
Your kind donations will help transform the life of another blind person and will give my very special Name a Puppy their own unique story.
I am naming a guide dog puppy Lynn in loving memory of my late wife and I will receive personalised updates and photos and at some stage will get to meet puppy Lynn who will become someones guide dog and hopefully, best friend.
What will I receive once I have raised £5,000…
To be allowed to name my guide dog puppy
To meet my guide dog puppy
A birth certificate and beautiful photo of my named pup at 6 weeks
Three pupdates detailing my puppy’s progress
Two ‘puppy report cards’
A framed photograph of my named puppy once she enters her training school around 12 to 14 months.
Once my puppy is settled with their puppy walker I should be able to meet Lynn and this should be when she is 4 to 5 months old.
